Motoring Offences

I can advise and represent you in court if you are charged with motoring offences, including ‘summary only’ motoring offence — These are motoring offences which can only be heard in the Magistrates’ Court. For example: (i) driving while disqualified; (ii) driving without insurance; (iii) careless driving; and (iv) failing to stop or report and speeding.

Timescales for Motoring Offences matters

Timescales for my services may vary depending on factors such as my availability, the complexity of your case and the need for additional documents. As a guide, written advice on your case will be available within 1-2 weeks where possible. You may also need representation at short notice. If so, please contact the clerks and I or one of my colleages in chambers will aim to represent you at the hearing where possible.

Fees

My charging methods are the same as above, based on the estimates below. However, if you have a particularly complex case, your fees may also be higher than the estimates. There are also likely to be additional costs, such as requiring reports, references, or other documents, and other expenses, such as travel and/or postage, not covered here.
